A crisis of identity

Today, within minutes of each other, I received two emails.
The first, from LoveFilm, opened: “Dear {CUSTOMER_INFO_FIRST_NAME}”.
The second, from Easyjet, greeted me: “NAME: [[Firstname]] [[Surname]]”.
Doesn’t anyone pay attention any more?
